We have been evaluating content management system CMS alternatives for several years.  WordPress, WP, represents the best CMS for us.  We have reviewed WP’s capabilities and tested many themes, dozens of plugins and the various ways we can convert to WP.

We will, of course, continue support for our existing websites which are well developed and based on very good Open Source development tools.

However, our new websites will be based on WP.  We also encourage our existing customers to convert to WP.   There are many benefits of converting, but in our view the following major benefits will result:

• As mobile device usage increases, WP’s ability to be responsive to various size displays of mobile devices will become increasingly important and valuable.
• WP’s capabilities to integrate social media sites with the website will be mandatory as users expect these capabilities.
• Combining Blog and Website functions provide better communication with customers and allow them to provide input to you.
• Users can be provided access to both blogs and web pages for updates and additions.  This allows more rapid website updates by users whenever new information needs to be published
